I had a great weekend. Had to work 1/2 d ay at one of our branches on Sat. morning. It was slow and 12:00 came real fast. I went home & immediately started cleaning because we were having company for dinner at 5 p.m. It was good to get so know a little better a couple from our church. We had a nice evening and enjoyed good food.
We went to church this morning & heard a good word from the Lord. Everyone stayed afterward for a light lunch & congregational meeting. By the time we got home it was about 2:30. I love Sunday afternoons but they just fly by. I enjoyed sitting in the recliner with one of my cats for a while.
I've still got good intentions of exercising in the mornings before work. I've got to make it a habit. Gotta get everything ready the night before. I guess it's never too late to change.

My Everyday Life
My life consists of getting up, Exercising(that's odd for me to say), getting ready for work, driving to work, working, driving home, eating supper, doing things around the house, maybe watch a little TV & going to bed. The days just fly by.
David & I have been so blessed to both still have our jobs. We have good health, good jobs, a beautiful house to live in and most important of all, salvation and the love of God. We have 3 great daughters and 3 wonderful grandchildren & 1 awesome son-in-law (Gus).
Sometimes I get sad about not living near my grandchildren and I just have to remember that God gives us what we are supposed to have and that He has my best interests in mind. I just have to remember that God knows the big picture and I don't. I can look back at certain things that have happened in my life and at the time I might not have gotten what I wanted but things worked out for good. I'm so glad He is in control.

New Beginning
I got up at 5 am this morning & went upstairs to exercise. I walked to a Leslie Sansone DVD. Anyone that knows me knows I hate to exercise, but I know I need to do it. My goal is to get some walking in every morning and gradually I would like to build up to some more difficult DVD's. But I've got to take baby steps first. I've got to make exercise a part of my life for good health. Gotta get downstairs and eat 'cause I'm real hungry!

Columbus Day
I had a work holiday today & it was the perfect day to stay home because it rained ALL day. I had a lot of plans for things to do around the house but I didn't do any of them. I spent most of the day reading a book & my cats took turns laying on me. They are like children. If Ramona is laying on my lap & Bailey comes up for some attention, she swats at him & then runs away. She definitely doesn't like to share me with him. I will take a picture of them this week & put them on my blog. They are so funny with each other. I think it's so wonderful how God gave us little animals to love.

Simple pleasures
I just love being at home. I am so content when I'm at here. I like organizing things around the house and making it attractive. I am so happy that the bonus room is mine. I have a TV, futon, desk, computer and all of my sewing things in the bonus room. I can go up there and think, pray, read, relax and get on my computer. There are just so many things to do when I'm at home. I guess I am truly an introvert because I get energized when I have alone time in my space.
